Tall Regent House Terrarium
Review: All metal & glass. Could be a little more sturdy though. This comes in 3 sections that just set on top of one another onto slots. It is fairly secure, but would prefer some type of fastener to fit these together even better. This is something you can do yourself though with a drill from underneath & still keep the fasteners hidden. The glass also just sets into slots in the frame. If you have a loud stereo these will rattle something fierce. I bought some adhesive backed felt & trimmed to size which I then lined the slots with. Problem fixed. There is also no handle on the doors, but I drilled a hole & attached a store bought handle myself aswell. The terrarium has good ventilation from slats in the middle of the frame & two holes on top. This comes shipped frieght on a pallet with 4 boxes & is well packaged. Overall I think this is a very nice terrarium.

Review: the mail box are only good to look at, and only if the are installed inside. mine is installed on the exterior wall and it whenever it rains water gets inside. I was gone for a week and when I got back, half the mailbox was flooded with water and the mail was a soggy mess. half of them were badly damaged including one from IRS, it got me in to a lot of trouble. Please avoid these if installing on exterior wall with no protection.
Customer Service Reply: We are sorry that you are not 100% satisfied with your product. Please note that this product is designed with multiple leak resistant features. The first being a channel around the inside bottom of the lid. This channel will collect water, and redistribute it to the rear of the mailbox, where it exits. The second feature are a series of holes on the inside towards the back bottom that act to divert any water, should it get past the rain channel.
We would recommend looking at the water coming off of the roof when it rains, as there may be an excess of water being poured onto the top of the unit. If that is not the problem, please call a Customer Service Representative, so they may assist you in keeping your mail dry, as this is an unusual occurrence for any of our mailboxes. When we hear of this type of leakage, it is usually do to an environmental issue around the box itself.

Review: This is a very nicely made, sturdy mailbox that looks good but not pretentious. While it's not cheap, it should hold up a lot better than the tinny mail boxes that I've seen in stores around here. My only conplaint is that it doesn't come with any hardware (you have to buy the post to get the hardware), so had to make a quick trip to the hardware store. Hope the color (black) doesn't fade too quickly.

Review: This item is made very well. It is heavy duty, with a very nice black matte finish. The door opens and closes easily, with a magnetic closure. This is a great feature to insure that it remains closed in bad weather. The mailbox is a great size. It fits on the standard mailbox street stand, yet has ample room for any mail overflow. Review: I had looked for a decently made cast aluminum rural mailbox on the 'net on several occasions, and had always come up with either what appeared to be very lightweight, inexpensive models, or very robust cast models that cost more than I wanted to spend. While I'm sure the expensive mailboxes are really nice, I just didn't want to end up spending several hundred dollars for two mailboxes and a post. On my last quest, I came across this mailbox, and I must say, I am *extremely* pleased with this product. It is a substantial mailbox, no inexpensive sheet metal here! The magnetic door latch seems strong but not so much that it is difficult to disengage. The piano hinge is smooth and should serve well for many years. The flag operates smoothly, no wobbling or play in its hinge and feels like it will stay put. The overall quality is just excellent, and at a price point that didn't break the bank. I highly recommend this mailbox to anyone that wants a solid, affordable, and attractive rural mailbox. Kudos to Amazon and the manufacturer for a great product!!!

It is much heavier and sturdier than the thin tin ones you find in the home improvement stores. I looked all over before I decided to look at Amazon, but I'm glad we ordered this one. It is larger than I originally thought it would be, but that is a plus! I also like the newspaper holder that comes with it - just have to convince the delivery person to use it! Our mailbox is under a porch roof, so we did not use the insert that comes with it either - you can see if you have mail just by glancing through the windows in the box. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a mailbox that will hold up to all those catalogs and mailings that come around the holidays.

Review: Mailbox was straightforward to mount on brick wall and looks nice. There is a privacy panel (to be mounted with adhesives inside the front panel of mailbox) that I did not install initially, then my friendly mailman put a note recommending that I put a plastic inside box to protect from rain, so I installed the privacy panel for that purpose. My only regret is that the box cannot be locked. But I think it is a good value; the other mailboxes I saw in stores and on line were either bland or very pricey.
