The Mail Chest Locking Mailbox and Post Packages
This U.S.P.S. approved Mail Chest features both a front and rear access locking door. Each unit includes an outgoing mail tray, a lock with two keys on each door and an adjustable red signal flag. A matching mailbox post is included in your choice of surface mount or in-ground mount styles. Made entirely of aluminum and covered in a powder coated finish, these packages are built to last. They are available in four standard colors and can also be used in multi-unit applications.

About the Mailbox
The mail is deposited into the Mail Chest through a non-locking access panel on the front and can be accessed through the front or rear locking door. The mailboxes are designed with an outgoing mail tray and come complete with an adjustable flag. They are also ideal for multi-unit applications. Two box and three box spreaders are available. For added convenience add a matching newspaper holder to your package.

About the Posts
A matching mailbox post is included in your package. Select from a surface, bolt mounted post or an in-ground mount post. In-ground posts are designed to be installed into a concrete footing. All mailboxes and posts should be installed to meet local postal regulations. Posts feature a versatile design that allows for a multi-unit application by using the optional mailbox spreaders.

About the Materials
All Mail Chests and Posts are made entirely from rust proof cast aluminum, resulting in a sturdy, weather resistant product. The maintenance free, powder coated finish is applied, giving it a chip-proof, fade-resistant color.

This product is approved for use by the United States Postal Service
USPS approval covers every letterbox or receptacle intended for the delivery of postage paid mail on any mail route. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
