About the Dvault DVWM0062S Wall Mounted Delivery Vault

The DVWM0062S, Dvault's only wall mounted locking mailbox vault is designed for secured wall mounted scenarios. Incoming mail can be deposited through a pull down opening. The base price shown is for the top delivery portion only. The delivery hold (bottom of vault) is available as an option. While the delivery hold may not be necessary for garage-mount or other similar installations, deliveries to these applications would simply fall to the floor in the interior of the structure. The wall-mounted hold is recommended for residential, office or commercial installations for additional security purposes. An outgoing mail compartment and installation instructions is also included.

This product is approved for use by the United States Postal Service
USPS approval covers every letterbox or receptacle intended for the delivery of postage paid mail on any mail route. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
