In 1991, a special idea originated in Vaasa, a small seaside town in Finland. That year two brothers had the idea of an innovative mailbox- the Bobi Mailbox. Thus, Bobicompany, a small family business that specializes in developing and producing mailboxes was born. Now over a decade later, much is still the same at Bobicompany. It is still a family operated company and all the Bobi mailboxes are still being manufactured at the Bobicompany in Vaasa. However not everything has stayed the same. The original Bobi mailbox has grown into a complete mailbox family of different styles, sizes, functions, and colors. Bobi Mailboxes quickly became Finland's most popular mailbox and Bobi Mailbox has gone international. Today Bobi mailboxes are available in the United States, Europe, and Japan through distinctive retail and design shops.
