About the Materials and Design
The Whitehall Chalet Mailbox is made from stamped steel for strength and durability and will handle oversized packages and large envelopes. The Flag pulls up and locks into position and is easy released by the mail carrier. The decorative ergonomic handle is a design feature unique to the Chalet mailbox. Steel is a rust and maintenance free material and will stand up to years of wear and tear and includes a manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty.
About the Finishes
The Whitehall Chalet Mailbox has a high quality powder coat finish, well known for its uniformity, durability, and protective nature. Powder coated surfaces are more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing than other finishes, and colors stay bright and vibrant longer. The mailbox is available in four colors, including Bronze, Black, Green and White.
About the Personalized Plaques
You can customize your new Whitehall Chalet Mailbox with Personalized Plaques, which are included. The personalized plaque will make it easier, for friends, family and emergency services to find your home. Each side of the Chalet Mailbox displays your address. Made from 100% recycle aluminum, they are powder coated to match your mailbox with gold characters. This two line plaque will display up to seven (7) 3” high characters on the first line and sixteen 1.25” high characters on the second line.
About the Options
Chalet Deluxe or Classic Posts: The strong steel posts are long enough to cement into the ground and provide a stable mount for the Chalet Mailboxes. The Deluxe post includes an extruded aluminum post skirt, front mount bracket and finial. The overall size is 7"W x 72"H x 7"D. The Classic post is a top mount post with a skirt and mounting plate and is 56”H.
Newspaper Holders: Made of extruded aluminum and powder coated to match your mailbox, the Chalet newspaper holder is a full 7.8”W x 5.5”H x 20”D and is easily mounted. A beautiful addition to the Chalet package brining you full roadside service.
