About the Materials and Design
The Whitehall Chalet Mailbox is made from stamped steel for strength and durability and will handle oversized packages and large envelopes. The strong steel post is long enough to cement into the ground and provides a stable mount for the Chalet Mailbox. Steel is a rust and maintenance free material as is the aluminum used in the decorative accents of the Chalet Mailbox Packages. The cast aluminum skirt slides over the steel post and the mounting plate and mailbox are attached to finish the look of the Classic Chalet Mailbox Package. This is a mailbox that will stand up to years of wear and tear and includes a manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty.

The Whitehall Chalet Mailbox and Post have a high quality powder coat finish, well known for its uniformity, durability, and protective nature. Powder coated surfaces are more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing than other finishes, and colors stay bright and vibrant longer. The mailbox is available in four colors, including Bronze, Black, Green and White.
