The Bobi Grande Mailbox and Post Package The U.S.P.S. approved Bobi Grande mailbox features a large capacity for storing mail, magazines, and small packages. The included Bobi Round post is made of one solid piece of 1.5” steel tube and is ready to be installed into the ground right out of the box. Made in Finland with great care to quality, the Bobis are made of heavy duty steel and are manufactured to function well and stay good looking for years. About the Design The large design of the Bobi Grande mailbox allows it to hold large amounts of mail and small packages The mail is deposited through the large inward opening on the front of the mailbox and can be retrieved through the front access door or a rear access door. Please choose below. A cylinder lock secures the access door and comes complete with two matching keys. Lock can be easily converted to thumb latch for a non-locking mailbox. Please specify below. The Bobi Round post is easily attached to the sides of the mailbox with four screws and securely installed in the ground with two poles. About the Materials All Bobi Grande mailboxes feature durable steel construction. They are made of stainless steel or zinc plated steel covered with a polyester coating to weather all the elements. The steel is 20 Gauge (1mm) thick with double layers at the corners for superior strength. About the Features Large capacity for storing mail, magazines, and small packages U.S.P.S. USPS approval covers every letterbox or receptacle intended for the delivery of postage paid mail on any mail route. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
