In 1991, a special idea originated in Vaasa, a small seaside town in Finland. That year two brothers had the idea of an innovative mailbox- the Bobi. Thus, Bobicompany, a small family business that specializes in developing and producing mailboxes was born. Now over a decade later, much is still the same at Bobicompany. It is still a family operated company and all the Bobi mailboxes are still being manufactured at the Bobicompany in Vaasa. However not everything has stayed the same. The original Bobi mailbox has grown into a complete mailbox family of different styles, sizes, functions, and colors. Bobi quickly became Finland's most popular mailbox and Bobi has gone international. Today Bobi mailboxes are available in the United States, Europe, and Japan through distinctive retail and design shops.

Durable steel construction. Bobi mailboxes are made of stainless steel (stainless models only) or zinc plated steel covered with a polyester coating to weather all the elements. The steel is 20 Gauge (1mm) thick with double layers at the corners for superior strength.

Spacious and Secure. The 10.25" wide incoming mail slot easily accepts large envelopes and magazines, and the large capacity will hold a week's worth of mail. The mail slot will accept USPS #1096 Small Priority boxes and USPS 12 1/2 x9 1/2" Flat rate and Priority envelopes.

Cylinder lock. A cylinder lock secures the access door. 2 keys are included. Extra keys, duplicates, or replacements available.

USPS BOBI is approved for limited service curbside delivery allowing for USPS delivery of incoming mail only by the United States Postal Service
