USPS Standard Cluster Box Mailboxes Made of heavy duty aluminum, these U.S.P.S. approved pedestal cluster box units are accessed from the front through easy opening master door panels. The aluminum CBU incoming mailbox doors includes a 1”H number and a heavy duty five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with a dust/rain shield and three (3) keys. One additional compartment in each unit is identified as an "Outgoing Mail" receptacle and includes a weather protection flap. Each CBU includes at least one (1) parcel locker which offers tenants a convenient way to receive packages on site. The durable and corrosion resistant units feature a durable powder coated finish in 6 different colors. Please order pedestals separately. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.

Product Review

This is a very nicely made, sturdy mailbox that looks good but not pretentious. While it's not cheap, it should hold up a lot better than the tinny mail boxes that I've seen in stores around here. My only conplaint is that it doesn't come with any hardware (you have to buy the post to get the hardware), so had to make a quick trip to the hardware store. Hope the color (black) doesn't fade too quickly.
