About the Side Mount In-Ground Post The Side Mount In-Ground Post by Dvault offers a decorative taste to your Delivery Vault Junior mailbox. The matching bracket and finial is included with each post. Its in-ground application provides a strong base for mounting the mailbox. Each post comes complete with required hardware and instructions for installation. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
