About the Delivery Vault Junior Mailbox The Delivery Vault Junior features a Anti-Pry Posi-Lock™ access door and hopper teeth to discourage thieves from reaching inside. The Junior also includes an outgoing mail feature with a carrier service flag and a unique weather seal to keep items dry. In addition, it meets US Postal Service Standards and is made in the USA. About the Side Mount In-Ground Post The Side Mount In-Ground Post by Dvault offers a decorative taste to your Delivery Vault Junior mailbox. The matching bracket and finial is included with each post. Its in-ground application provides a strong base for mounting the mailbox. Each post comes complete with required hardware and instructions for installation. About the Materials and Finish All Dvault mailboxes and posts are constructed of heavy-duty, 14 gauge aluminum. and covered in a durable, powder coated poly-hammer finish resulting in a sturdy and long-lasting product. Each Dvault mailbox also features stainless steel hinges and fasteners. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
