It is easily installed over a 4” x 4” wood post and comes pre-cut to fit the mailbox. It is constructed of industrial grade polystyrene with a painted stucco exterior. About the Design QualArc has designed these columns to partner with the Manchester Mailbox. Its solid construction provides a strong base for mounting the mailbox and allows for the addition of a newspaper holder and address plaque. About the Materials The QualArc Stucco Columns are produced from industrial grade polystyrene. This styrofoam material is used in buildings and other structures and is known for its durability, yet is easy to cut and paint. The columns are then finished with a painted stucco exterior that is available in three standard colors.
