I had seen products of this type many years ago. So I searched to find one for our current need. Recently we moved from a home where the mail was delivered to the door to an area with the traditional mailbox at the curb. The mailperson arrives at wildly different times during the day. This could potentially mean several long walks to the curb to see if the mail arrived. This device works perfectly and solved the "long walk" problem. Extremely easy setup and perfect performance.
