About the Materials Used
The construction of these beautiful doormats starts with a black vulcanized rubber backing that will resist slipping and scratching when stepped on. The topside is a coarse fibre extracted from the fibrous outer shell of a coconut known as Coir. Coir is thick, strong and has a high abrasion resistance so it will keep the outside from coming inside for many years. The center plaques are made from solid, sand cast and powder coated aluminum. Aluminum is a lightweight, totally rust free, recyclable, and extremely durable material that is often used for outdoor products.
About the Personalized Monogram
This doormat has a ornate eight (8) inch square monogram letter of your choice. A “Blank” is also available should you choose. The monogram plaque is replaceable, should you decide you want to change the text in the future, or have more than one text plate.
