Designed for todays Small to Medium sized mailboxes, the size of the overall post is 8"W x 56H x 26"D. Please note we do not recommend using either the Salsbury mailbox or the Whitehall Mailbox for this unit. This post is designed to support a mailbox which weighs 5 to 7 lbs. If you would like to attach a heavier mailbox, please purchase the Dover version of this post
