About the Construction

The Mail Safe is constructed of high impact composite plastic and available in 6 UV protected granite colors. In a day of continuous mail theft from mailboxes, security is the utmost importance . This mailbox was actually designed and built by former letter carriers with the latest customer security issues in mind. The patent pending, two-piece design is very rugged and durable. It is resistant to impact from ball bats but will break-away rather than apart (mail compartment intact) if struck by a motor vehicle. The rear door lock come with two keys and is the only way to retrieve your mail. The available colors are:

Since the new Mail Safe Mailbox comes partially pre-assembled (flag and doors are already installed), all you need to do is attach the top half to the bottom half with the included hardware. After assembly, dig a hole approximately 14” x 24” wide and 12” deep. The Mail Safe Mailbox is constructed with a pre-formed bury-line that is pre measured to the correct installation height. (38” to 42”) and does not need any additional material to make it solid. Simply set it in the ground, replace the dirt, and let it set for a few days to settle.
