The Keystone Series Double Deluxe Mailbox Post This sturdy cast aluminum post is built to withstand the elements and is finished to match the options you choose for your mailboxes. The in-ground post is easily installed over a sunken 4 x 4 ensuring permanent and secure placement. The mailboxes are mounted on both sides of the post for a pleasing form. Customize your Double Deluxe Post with any number of Keystone options for a completely distinctive appearance. About the Design The Keystone Series Standard posts are designed to mount the Keystone Series Mailboxes. They feature a ball finial and a curved arm that complete the decorative design. They are finished to match the options you choose for your mailbox About the Materials Keystone Posts are die cast from aerospace-grade, rust-proof aluminum. They are finished with a highly protective state-of-the-art five step powder coated paint process, well known for its uniform, durable, and high-quality finish. The paint itself contains ultraviolet (UV) ray inhibitors to protect the surface making it resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
