This ensures a rust and maintenance free product, perfect for a typically inaccessible weathervane. Mounting and display options for all weathervanes are sold separately and are available in many varieties to suit your needs.

This product is available in bright polished copper and antiqued (patina) copper. After assembly, these weathervane figures are placed on buffers to give them luster and shine. If you desire to keep the polished finish looking new, we recommend applying a coat of clear lacquer or polyurethane. The polished weathervanes are not treated in the factory so they will start to naturally tarnish. At first, the finish will darken, like an old copper penny. Then, after several years, the surface will begin to bloom with a beautiful natural green/blue patina.
