A beautiful protective and UV resistant powder-coated finish and several other features including a magnet closure for the door, make the ecco E3 a prudent choice. About the Materials This beautifully crafted curbside mailbox is made with 1.5 mm and 2 mm thick galvanized steel. It is then finished with a highly protective, powder coated paint process, well known for its uniform, durable, and high-quality finish. The paint contains ultraviolet (UV) ray inhibitors to protect the surface making it resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing. Colors stay bright and vibrant for years to come. About the Design The ecco E3 post mailbox is designed in the classic round top style and in the most popular size to handle today's postal needs. It features a die cast flag and uses a magnet to keep the door closed. The mailbox is postal service approved. For a limited time, we are offering a free set of up to 12 magnetic numbers (6 per side), which are designed to fit into the recessed panels on the side of the mailbox (as shown). The numbers are approximately 1-7/8" H x 1-1/4" W. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
