About the Materials
The ecco E1 mailboxes are made from heavy duty steel resistant to dents and daily wear and tear. Stainless steel is a generic term for a family of low carbon alloy steels containing 10.5% or more chromium. The corrosion resistance and other useful properties of steel are enhanced by increased chromium content and the addition of other elements such as molybdenum, nickel and nitrogen. Stainless steel also has a self-healing property because of its specific chemical composition. A layer on the surface, only a few atoms thick, naturally forms and, with the assistance of oxygen from air or water, rebuilds itself when scratched. This is the reason why stainless steel does not require any coating or other corrosion protection to remain bright and shiny even after decades of use. It is also 100% RECYCLABLE. The steel label is embossed with US Mail and then acid etched to bring out a beautiful contrast in the material.

About the Mailbox Design
The E1 is ideal for limited space applications or low volume mail. Despite its slender form, the mailbox is tall enough to house folded magazines and large envelopes. Its shape is visually unobtrusive and does not take up a lot of space. The sloped lid creates a wide opening for easy mail retrieval. The ecco E1 features practical see through square openings for spotting incoming mail and a label holder on top of the lid is provided for the owner's name or house number. The steel label is attached with small removable rivets and is available with the imprint MAIL for use outside the USA. All hardware included.

This stylish stainless steel ecco newspaper holder is designed for either your E1 or E2 mailbox. Is has similar square perforations to match your ecco mailbox nicely. Made from heavy duty stainless steel, is is curved just enough to nestle your newspapers with a beautiful rounded edge. Available in a polished or brushed finish, the ecco newspaper holder is a natural compliment to your entryway with contemporary style.
