The DVault DVJ0060 Delivery Vault Junior
DVault has constructed this drop box to keep your mail and small parcels safe and secure. Produced from heavy-duty 14 gauge aluminum, the Curbside Delivery Unit features a Anti-Pry Posi-Lock™ access door and hopper teeth to discourage thieves from reaching inside. The Junior also includes an outgoing mail feature with a carrier service flag and a unique weather seal to keep items dry. In addition, the Junior meets US Postal Service Standards and is made in the USA.

About the Design
DVault has designed these locking mail and small parcel delivery vaults with different mounting options. The square configuration makes the Junior more suitable for installation into a column; however it does allow the option of being mounted to a post. It features decorative embossing on both doors and the main service door handle blends into the decorative design.

The DVault Junior DVJ0060 is constructed of heavy-duty, 14 gauge aluminum. It also features stainless steel hinges and fasteners and a durable, powder coated poly-hammer finish.

I found the mailbox to contain the high quality advertised. I was disappointed in the plastic flag for mail pick-up notification. It was not practical for mounting in columns and overall cheapens the impact of the product.

Customer Service Reply: Ed, we are sorry to hear that you are not 100% satisfied with this product. Please note that for column installation, we would not recommend using the flag for this unit. We do have a heavy duty metal flag that is designed specifically for column installations. Please contact a customer service representative, and we will be able to assist you with this product.

This product is approved for use by the United States Postal Service
USPS approval covers every letterbox or receptacle intended for the delivery of postage paid mail on any mail route. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
