About the MB2000 Residential Mailbox
The MB2000 mailboxes are weatherproof to protect delivered and outgoing mail from the elements. But unlike other boxes, the mail receptacles are fabricated with treated aluminum that resist rust and other signs of weathering to protect your investment as well as your mail. They are also large enough to secure up to two-weeks worth of normal mail delivery.

About the MB2000 Residential Mailbox Posts
There are two post options for your intended installation site. The surface mount post is 36”H with an 8” square base bolt plate is for installation on a flat surface such as wood or concrete. The in-ground post is 60”H to allow enough for burial. The USPS requirements for installation are 42” – 48” from road surface to point of mail entry. The mailbox door should be 6” – 8” from the front face of the “curb”. Please note that if you have any questions on your mailbox placement, contact your local post office before installing.
