About the Decorative Mailbox Posts by Architectural Mailboxes
Architectural Mailboxes Mailbox Post with Decorative Cover (item 7507) is available in a powder coated finish and is designed for in-ground installation. Our posts are constructed of 3” round galvanized steel. The Decorative Post is designed with a cast aluminum fluted base cover that conceals unsightly concrete work.

About the Sonoma Mailbox Collection
Simplistic yet stylish, the White Sonoma Mailbox is constructed of quality aluminum and features protective white powder coated accents on all cast parts. All parts on the Sonoma Mailbox are fully powder coated and finished prior to assembly eliminating corrosion with part joints. The front and rear frames are constructed of die cast aluminum and finished in a white durable protective coat. Each mailbox includes a red accent flag. Further customization is available on our White Sonoma Mailboxes.

Sonoma Mailbox Options

Custom Mailbox Address Lettering
You can create a custom mailbox with custom type that is available for all Architectural Mailbox products. Premium German-made vinyl lettering is used and rated to last at least seven years. 5 text color choices are available: bronze, copper, gold, pewter and silver. The standard font is Times New Roman Italic. Custom colors, fonts and even artwork can be created and using an advanced computer based lettering system (please contact for detail). These are shipped separate from the mailbox.

Text is available in 5 color choices - bronze, copper, gold, pewter and silver
Text can be applied to the flag side, non flag side, or both sides of the mailbox
Text can be applied in both capital letters and smaller case (please specify)

This product is approved for use by the United States Postal Service
USPS approval covers every letterbox or receptacle intended for the delivery of postage paid mail on any mail route. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
