Victorian architecture and modern day functionality, the heavy duty 100% cast aluminum Amco Victorian Wall Mailbox features a historic Pony Express design, a locking door and an adjustable solid brass mail flap. About the Mailbox Construction
Made of heavy-duty cast-aluminum in lightweight construction, this elegant and secure mailbox was made for all seasons and will not rust. Each mailbox has an inward swinging brass mail slot embossed with "LETTERS". Depending on mail volume, the mail flap will open up to two (2) inches. Your mail is accessible from the locking access door keeping your mail safe. Please note that this mailbox does not facilitate outbound mail.

About the Mailbox Finishes
The cast aluminum of the Victorian Wall Mailbox is powder-coated then lacquered for a durable, weather-resistant finish in the following colors:

About the Maintenance
To clean your mailbox, wash with a solution of mild detergent and water (do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners). Rinse with clear water and dry thoroughly. Depending on location of your mailbox, it is highly recommended to periodically, apply a fine, clear automobile wax for maximum protection against harmful ultraviolet exposure and salt air. Please remember, due to the nature of brass, the mail flap, in time, will oxidize to a patina finish. To prolong the shinny brass look, it is recommended to also clean and wax it like your mailbox.

This product is approved for use by the United States Postal Service
USPS approval covers every letterbox or receptacle intended for the delivery of postage paid mail on any mail route. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
