Product Description

The 3700 series U.S.P.S. approved 4C standard horizontal mailboxes, and fully integrated or stand-alone parcel lockers, are designed for indoor and outdoor applications. They meet all specifications of USPS-STD-4C and are ideal for apartments, residential communities, commercial buildings and many other applications.

The Specifications:
Made entirely of heavy gauge aluminum and stainless steel hardware, the 4C units feature a durable powder coated finish. The front loading, units include one or two (2) master door(s) that swing(s) on a continuous integral hinge. Each standard mailbox door (MB1) is 13-1/4" W x 3-1/4" H and includes a heavy duty five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with a dust/rain shield and three (3) keys. Integrated or stand-alone parcel lockers offer users a convenient way to receive packages on site.

A compartment equivalent to two (2) 3-1/4" high standard doors is used for outgoing mail collection. The compartment is labeled "Outgoing Mail" and includes a 10-3/4" H x 3/4" H mail slot and weather protection hood. The outgoing mail compartment includes a standard U.S.P.S. master lock access door. An option for Private Delivery is also available. All units include factory installed 1/2" W x 1/4" D trim and a solid closed back.

The Configurations:
4C standard horizontal mailbox units are available in configurations that are one door wide (single column) and two (2) doors wide (double column). They are also available in different heights of “stacked” doors - 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 and 15. Fully integrated and stand-alone parcel lockers are available in equivalent standard mailbox door heights of 5, 6 and 7. The 4C 3700 series cluster units also offer custom engraved placards and private delivery options.

This product is approved for use by the United States Postal Service
USPS approval covers every letterbox or receptacle intended for the delivery of postage paid mail on any mail route. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
