USPS approval covers every letterbox or receptacle intended for the delivery of postage paid mail on any mail route. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.

Arrived today & it was just as listed & warrants high reviews I had read before purchasing. I prefer without the newspaper hooks but they are sturdy enough to use elsewhere on the porch. Plant hanger? Mailbox: Heavy material. Over-sized. Great product for the low price in comparison to what is online & higher quality than you will find at building materials stores.

The reviews for this mailbox were very positive so my expectations were high. I purchased two. They arrived nicely packaged (both mailboxes were boxed, then shipped in a larger box). The mailboxes are sturdy and attractive, nice finish, easy to install, so expectations were met.

Simple and understated, but with a "design element" (the cut outs), it's cosmetically exactly as we expected. Construction is solid, not at all "tinny" as we thought might be the case.

This mailbox was easily installed, looks great and seems to be made of a very durable material. The finish is nice and since mine is under a porch roof, I probably won't install the security panel. I'm very glad I made the decision to go with this mailbox for my newly renovated porch.
