About the Roadside Mailboxes
Made entirely of aluminum, U.S.P.S. approved 4300 series roadside mailboxes feature both a front and rear access locking door. Available in a black, white, green or silver powder coated finish, each unit includes an outgoing mail tray, a lock with two (2) keys on each door (keyed alike) and an adjustable red signal flag. Mail is deposited through a non-locking access panel on the front. Roadside mailboxes can be mounted on the optional bolt mounted (#4365) or in-ground mounted (#4385) aluminum pedestals or in-ground mounted, 1-sided deluxe posts (#4370) or a base of your choice. ORDER PEDESTALS SEPARATELY. Multiple roadside mailboxes can be mounted on deluxe 2-sided posts (#4372) or on standard posts using optional spreaders (related items #4382 and #4383). Roadside mailboxes can also be mounted in columns, masonry or walls. Non-locking thumb latches (related item #4388) are available as an option upon request. Roadside mailboxes are approved for U.S.P.S. curbside mail delivery.

Made of aluminum, newspaper holders (#4315) are a unique option for roadside mailboxes. Each unit has a solid back and includes mounting hardware to easily attach to mailbox posts and spreaders. Newspaper holders feature a durable powder coated finish available in four (4) contemporary colors.

This product is approved for use by the United States Postal Service
USPS approval covers every letterbox or receptacle intended for the delivery of postage paid mail on any mail route. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
