About the Salsbury Designer Roadside Mailboxes
Made entirely of aluminum, Salsbury U.S.P.S. approved 4300 series designer roadside mailboxes feature both a front and rear access locking door. Available in a powder coated bronze, brass, copper or nickel finish, each unit includes an outgoing mail tray, a lock with two (2) keys on each door (keyed alike) and an adjustable burgundy signal flag. Mail is deposited through a non-locking access panel on the front.

About the Designer Roadside Mailbox Mounting Options
Designer roadside mailboxes can be mounted on the optional designer bolt mounted (#4365D) or in-ground mounted (#4385D) aluminum pedestals or designer in-ground mounted, 1-sided deluxe posts (#4370D) or a base of your choice. Multiple designer roadside mailboxes can be mounted on designer deluxe 2-sided posts (#4372D) or on designer standard posts using optional designer spreaders (related items #4382D and #4383D). Designer roadside mailboxes can also be mounted in columns, masonry or walls. Non-locking thumb latches (related item #4388) are available as an option upon request. Roadside mailboxes are approved for U.S.P.S. curbside mail delivery.

Made of aluminum, Salsbury designer newspaper holders (#4315D) are a unique option for designer roadside mailboxes. Each unit has a solid back and includes mounting hardware to easily attach to designer mailbox posts and spreaders. Designer newspaper holders feature a durable powder coated finish available in four (4) contemporary colors.

This product is approved for use by the United States Postal Service
USPS approval covers every letterbox or receptacle intended for the delivery of postage paid mail on any mail route. From the point of the manufacturer, this includes flag size, mailbox size, strength, and quality of construction. Generally, all mailbox interiors and door access are regulated to receive expected mail sizes. Residential curbside or rural mailboxes and post packages also must accommodate an installation height of 41-45 in. from the road surface to inside floor of the mailbox or point of mail entry (locked designs). A separate set of regulations is provided for all Commercial Mailboxes.
