About The 36” Window Boxes

These sharp window boxes are made from high quality polyethylene, a vinyl with durable and fade-proof properties. The unique advantage of our window boxes is the use of roto-molding. Rotational molding allows us to produce vinyl window boxes as one piece with a consistent, even wall thickness. Competitors typically assemble their vinyl window boxes from several pieces which could eventually separate and leak. Hands down, our window boxes are made to last and last. Maintaining your window box is as easy as a little soap and high-pressure water. They are shipped compete with wall brackets and all necessary hardware and assembly instructions. Should you want to mount these boxes on your deck, an optional deck rail kit is also available. Combine a window box with one of our patio planters to complete your garden effect. Although not a true hydroponic system, the sub-irrigation system used in these beautiful window boxes is a passive system which, like hydroponics, provides a better flow of nutrients to your plant than traditional potting and drainage systems. In our window boxes, only the roots are in contact with highly oxygenated and clean water. The dirt on top does not hold the water which helps prevent mold, root rot and other plant diseases. We recommend using lightweight filler and potting mixes as they provide better aeration and nutrient absorption and won’t overload the window box itself. Using the planting and watering recommendations included with your window box and depending on the direct sun and rain exposure, your window box can be left to its own well put together resources and you can sit back and enjoy it for years to come.
